Have you ever wished you had the best of gospel music from the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s all on one CD? That
wish just came true.
Thanks to Habakkuk Music and Central City Productions, the Stellar Awards 30th Anniversary 1985-2015
project combines four decades of great anthems to create one stellar (no pun intended!) album.
It includes music from BeBe and CeCe Winans, Hezekiah Walker, Tramaine Hawkins, Mary Mary, Fred
Hammond and many more.
The new compilation, set for a Tuesday, March 31st release, hits stores right after the 30th Annual Stellar
ceremony in Vegas this weekend.
“These are just a few of the gospel songs and artists that have not only made an impact in gospel music but within
the music industry at large,” said April Chandler, President of Habakkuk Music said.
With so many incredible songs to choose from, she added, “It was extremely difficult to narrow the list down but
we feel this is a great introduction to the music that’s been celebrated at the Stellar Gospel Music Awards from
the contemporary sounds of Kirk Franklin to the old school sound of Shirley Caesar.”
