Everyone knows about Rafael, native of The Bronx (NYC), graduate of Franklin College and staple now at WRTV/Channel6 for seventeen years.  Candice Aviles is a newcomer, but not a stranger to the Midwest.  A Chicago native, she graduated from the University of Southern California and worked in Missouri and LA before joining Channel 6 last month.  When you hear their interview you’ll hear the obviously chemistry and rapport they share, an enthusiasm that comes across on radio and on The Now Indy.

Also, unseen during the interview was a piece of TV equipment created by Channel 6’s engineers.  They rigged up an Apple IPad with a professional TV Camera lens, studio quality microphone and wireless technology which is used in the field for interviews and other stories.  Channel 6 pioneered the technology which could be used by their sister stations in Scripps Broadcasting.  Scripps, owners of Channel 6 also has The Now early afternoon newscasts in several of their other cities.  Hear the Fun and Rapport Between of the Anchors of Channel 6’s new 4pm newcast The Now Indy in their Afternoons with Amos Interview.
