Baltimore’s top prosecutor has announced on Friday morning that there is probable cause to file charges against the Baltimore Police Department officers who were involved in the arrest and fatal injuries of Freddie Gray. The  investigation’s findings state that Grey was illegally arrested, he was not secured according to procedure in the back of the police wagon and he was denied medical attention. The Maryland state medical examiner’s report determined that Grey’s death was homicide. Six officers are being charged, according to Maryland State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby. Mosby has urged the public to “trust the process of the justice system.” She specifically told the youth that she will seek justice on their behalf and urged them to have productive non-violent protests and rallies. A warrant for the officer’s arrests have been issued. This is a developing story.
