Russell Wolfe, whose Pure Flix movie house has released over 100 faith-based films, has died at the age of 50 after battling ALS.
His film house, wanted to share this message from Russell with fans. Russell wrote:

Russell worked for the film house and wanted to bring God’s love to the world. Pure Flix is a Christian movie studio that produces, distributes, and acquires Christ centered movies for the sole purpose of changing our culture for Christ, one heart at a time.
Their mission since day one has remained the same and they continue to strive
to make a difference for His name.

His film house Pure Flix Entertainment has created many of the greatest family films of our time. The list includes ‘The Wager‘,Home Beyond the Sun, In the Blink of an Eye, Sarah’s Choice, Birdie & Bogey, A Greater Yes: The Story of Amy Newhouse, The Book of Ruth: Journey in Faith and Holyman Undercover. They also produced the first two seasons of TBN’s Travel the Road. God’s Not Dead starring Kevin Sorbo, Shane Harper and Dean Cain has earned over 60 million dollars in the U.S. box-office and shocked Hollywood.
Russell was working on the sequel God’s Not Dead 2, which is slated for 2016 release.
