What started out as temporary may soon be permanent for Lester Holt who’s been filling in the NBC Nightly News anchor chair.
Although Holt’s assignment was only supposed to last for six months, sources say Brian Williams will not be returning to the helm of the popular newscast.
Negotiations are said to be underway between NBC executives and Williams’ attorney. Either Williams will return in a new role or will exit from the network all together.
