Want to show off your fabulous singing voice? American Idol auditions are coming to Indianapolis. The show’s iconic blue tour bus will be parked on Georgia Street Thursday waiting to greet fans of the long-running singing competition show that’s introduced the nation to talents such as Kelly Clarkson, Fantasia Barrino, Ruben Studdard, Jordin Sparks (who was just here in Indy for our Women’s Empowerment Series and the Indianapolis 500 last month) and Academy Award-winning “dreamgirl” Jennifer Hudson. Thousands of people are expected downtown to try out for the 15th and final season. This is the first time auditions have been here in Indy.
