Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the King of Heaven. He is also The King of kings and Lord of lords (1Tim. 6:15). God’s man and woman, Adam and Eve had the assignment to rule and reign on earth in the Garden of Eden. When they sinned they turned over their authority given to them by God to the devil. Then Jesus, God’s firstborn came to planet earth to gain back the authority that was lost in the Garden, and praise God, He did it! We are now the ones left in charge by Jesus to rule and have authority on this earth, just like mankind was to do in the Garden. So, what would you call the ones who are to rule on this earth? Well, let us look at what The Bible says.
Jesus Christ, Who is the “RULER OVER THE KINGS OF THE EARTH” and The One Who washed us in His own blood because He loves us, HAS MADE US TO BE “KINGS AND PRIESTS!” You mean that WE are now kings? That is right my brother and sister, WE ARE KINGS! That is why The Bible calls Jesus The King of kings, He is The King (big K) of the kings (small k) – us! We are the kings to carry out His Will on this earth, Matthew 6:9-10,“your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” We are the brothers and sisters of Jesus Christ, He is The King and we are our Father’s children and He has made us kings too!
