Last week, recording artist William Murphy III sent out an urgent prayer request on behalf of his brother, DeVaughn Murphy.
Sadly, he has passed away.
“We’re hurt….but we’re His! So we’ll be ok!” wrote the “Praise Is What I Do” singer on Twitter. “Thanks for your love, your prayers, your support, your faith, and now your patience, as we figure out how to move forward as a family.”
DeVaughn was one of the twin sons of Bishop William, Jr. and Lady Donna Murphy, of Rochester, MI.
“My brother is the beneficiary of an answered prayer…and he’s SEEING JESUS!,” said Pastor Murphy, adding, “We’re gonna celebrate his life this Friday and Saturday, in a major way!”
