One of the music industry’s biggest stars may be joining the incredible cast of NBC’s production of The Wiz.
It’s been reported that Beyonce has been offered the perfect role for her, Glinda the Good Witch.
However, NBC has not confirmed the report. But, two big names have already signed on including Mary J. Blige and Queen Latifah. Blige is going to play Evillene, the Wicked Witch of the West and Latifah is going to play the Wizard.
If for some reason Beyonce doesn’t take the role another exciting name is said to be on the wishlist.
According to E! News, producers are considering Uzo Aduba who plays Crazy Eyes in the very popular show Orange is the New Black.
