Alfred C. Liggins, CEO of Radio One, stated, “Amos was an icon of local Indianapolis radio and television and within the African-American community.  He was a special and caring leader with an unwavering commitment to keeping his audience informed and brought together corporate, civic and political leaders in thoughtful dialogue about the challenging issues facing our community.  This is an immeasurable loss for the Radio One family but we take comfort in his lasting legacy of passionate advocacy, inspirational commentary, political activism and selfless devotion to justice.”
