The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, NeNe Leakes, was recently on The View to promote her new Broadway role in Chicago. Leakes wasn’t too happy when it was all said and done.
Leakes was asked about her marriage; specifically, why she decided to re-marry her ex-husband. Leakes responded, “Love is better the second time around. I love having a husband. I love being married.” Co-host, Joy Behar, didn’t like that answer and wanted to keep prying at the original question, and continued to ask why they even got divorced in the first place. Leakes responded, “Well, honey, I had to teach him a lesson.”
The questions seemed to have irritated Leakes, as she took to twitter after the taping and tweeted, “Just sat down with a bunch of mean girls turning up their noses, looking u up & down as if u don’t belong.” The tweet was later deleted.
Leakes also posted a photo to Instagram with the view co-hosts, except one co-host seems to have purposely gotten cropped out. ABC originally posted the same photo on The View’s Instagram, except their version of the photo included Raven Symone.
