More than 50 kids had a chance to do some holiday shopping with police officers in Cleveland Tuesday.
The Cleveland Division of Police raised money all year for the Shop With a Cop program. Officers chose children who had been victims of or witnesses to crime to spend an evening shopping at Target at Steelyard Commons.
This is a blessing,” said Ieshia Wakefield. “I’m very thankful. This has been a tough year for me and my daughter because we lost our little one and I’m very, very blessed.”
“It means everything. For Cleveland to give back,” said Lateasa Byrd.
