The RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) announced Wednesday, December 16th, that Michael Jackson’s Thriller has become the first ever album to go multi-platinum 30 times in the United States.
Jackson is the highest selling artist of all time with over 1 billion total sales worldwide. Thriller was released on November 30, 1982, and it spent over 2 years on Billboard charts.
