Bill Cosby’s attorneys are fighting to have his 2005 deposition, where he admitted to buying Quaaludes and using them on women who he planned on having relations with, sealed.  Cosby gave the 900 page deposition back in 2005, when Andrea Constand filed a civil lawsuit against him for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her.

The deposition remained a secret for almost ten years, until many major news outlets reported on it last summer.  Cosby denies the allegations, and claims he only used Quaaludes on women who were willing partners.

Cosby is currently fighting the criminal sexual assault charges brought on him back in December, as well as a civil defamation lawsuit filed against him by seven of his accusers.

The deposition plays a huge factor in both of Cosby’s cases.  Cosby’s attorneys are trying to use the deposition to get the sexual assault case thrown out.  However, Cosby’s seven accusers in the defamation case are trying to use the deposition as key evidence.  You can read more on the story here.
