CBS Films' 'Last Vegas' Special Screening After Party

Morgan freeman sat down with Joel Osteen to ask him the question, “Who is God?”  The interview will air as part of the third episode of Freeman’s series called The Story of Godwhich airs on Nat Geo.

Osteen answers Freeman’s question stating, “I believe God is our Father, the Creator, somebody that gives us purpose and destiny.  Sometimes it’s hard for people to say ‘how can I believe in something I can’t see?’ But it’s what you choose to believe, through faith.”

Freeman, who doesn’t consider himself a Christian responded, “God has been a lot of things to a lot of people, and now here you’re making God personal, approachable, helpful.”  The actor said he grew up going to church but, but he calls himself a “privatist.”  Freeman explained his belief of a privatist as “all of life is this planet, and life ever after is here.”

The series explores faith, as Freeman speaks to people of various cultures around the world.  The Story of God airs at 9PM on Sunday’s on the Nat Geo Channel.  Read more on the story at ChristianPost.com.
