In honor of International Jazz Day that is celebrated on April 30th, the White House hosted the 2016 All-Star Global Concert filled with many talented artists.  Aretha Franklin, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Al Jarreau, Sting, and many more joined together to celebrate jazz music.

Towards the end of the evening, a tribute was paid to Prince, which featured vocals from Aretha Franklin.  Franklin came on stage during the short performance to sing a few lines from Prince’s “Purple Rain.”

Check out the entire concert here.  The Prince tribute starts around 1:11:00 mark.
