Kroger is adding another product to its list of listeria-related recalls. The supermarket chain, based in nearby-Cincinnati, is asking customers to return or throw out ten-ounce bags of Simple Truth Organic Mixed Vegetables. Ingredients in the frozen vegetables are linked to a supplier that has indicated possible listeria contamination with several of its products that are packaged for multiple stores and brands.

Giant Eagle stores (Northeastern Ohio) and and Market District stores (found here in Indy too) are also pulling products due to listeria contamination fears. The supermarket chain says several foods with fried rice are being recalled because of possible contamination at a supplier’s factory. The fried rice products were sold in the prepared foods departments at both stores. Anyone who bought those products can throw them out or return them for a refund.
