Latice Crawford will at the upcoming ESSENCE Festival’s All-Star Gospel Tribute to The Clark Sisters, as well as other key events during the July 4th holiday weekend in New Orleans.

Crawford’s new EP, Diary of a Church Girl debuted at No. 15 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. Her new single, “Author” is described by GospelPundit.com’s as “A vulnerable ballad featuring Crawford’s signature tone and passionate delivery, sure to resonate with audiences everywhere.”  This week, “Author” was noted as a Most Added song at Gospel radio.

Best known as the second runner-up of Season 2 of BET’s Sunday Best, Crawford presents Diary of a Church Girlas the follow-up to her 2014 debut self-titled album, which entered on four Billboard charts and peaked at No. 12 on the Gospel Albums chart. Diary of a Church Girl is written by Crawford and produced by Bruce Robinson (Alexis Speight, The Showers, Justin Bieber, and Brittany Spears).
