Kidney disease and breast cancer survivor, and former EEW Magazine cover girl, Cassandra Elliot has much to celebrate.
The ministry leader with the never-say-die attitude has earned her degree from North Carolina College of Theology.
On June 4, in a celebratory Periscope video, Elliot, who now possesses an Associate in Biblical Studies degree, told her followers, the dream took “over 20 years” to accomplish. But she’s not stopping there. “I’m going on to get my Bachelors in Theology,” she said wearing her blue cap and gown.
“I’m going all the way through,” she added.
In 2013, when Dianna Hobbs, President of EEW Magazine, took a trip to Elliott’s North Carolina home during her cancer battle to help care for her and minister to her needs, things didn’t look good. But God intervened.
