Before the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers took the court this past Monday, they came together to pray.

The Warriors chaplain, the Rev. Earl Smith, invited both teams to join him an hour before Monday night’s game so they could focus on faith.  Smith said, “We don’t even think about basketball.”  He continued, “Our talks are life talks.  It’s just a break to calm their inner selves down.”

It’s great to hear about professional athletes coming together before a game to give God the glory.  Read more on what Rev. Earl Smith had to say here.
