Actress Leslie Jones took to twitter to let everyone know that designers won’t dress her for the upcoming Ghostbusters premiere. She is taking notes of all the designers who won’t dress her, and it sounds like she won’t ever wear anything from them when they offer.
Jones’ co-star, Melissa McCarthy has also faced issues with designers in the past. McCarthy ended up starting her own line after designers refused to make her an Oscar gown, because her body type differed from those of runway models.
Octavia Spencer also admitted to having designer issues when she was nominated for an Oscar a few years back. Spencer commented, “It’s very difficult to make a woman of different sizes look as chic, as sexy, without making them wear a tent.”
