It’s no secret that Ciara and her ex-fiance, Future, don’t get along. A few months ago, the two settled a custody battle in court, where the judge granted them joint custody of their son, Future Zahir Wilburn. Now it’s being reported that Ciara has filed new claims in her $15 million defamation suit against her ex.
Rapper, Future, has been very vocal on social media about Ciara. He went on a Twitter rant saying Ciara had “control problems,” and he also claimed he had to go through lawyers to see their son. He ended his rant claiming Ciara was being a difficult co-parent all for $15,000 of child support.
Ciara then filed the defamation lawsuit against her ex for the comments he made on Twitter. Future then filed a counter suit claiming Ciara didn’t have a big enough following for his comments to defame her. After Future won joint custody of baby Future, he dropped is counter suit in the defamation case.
It looks like this already messy situation just keeps getting messier. Ciara is now reporting that Future’s comments about her ended up costing her a $500,000 cosmetic deal. The defamation case is ongoing.
Despite the tiring legal battle, Ciara recently got married to Seattle Seahawks quarterback, Russell Wilson.
