A 17-year-old boy named Richie, who is going through cancer for the second time, requested to meet Kirk Franklin through Toby’s Dream Foundation of Virginia. Franklin ended up hearing about Richie’s dream to meet him through social media and made it happen.
Richie’s Aunt, Tyrek Slaughter, tweeted the following at Franklin to try to get his attention.
Franklin ended up seeing the tweet and he made it happen. After he met Richie, Franklin posted a few photos on twitter with the caption, “Amazing how God can even use social media to make something beautiful happen.”
