The Oprah Winfrey Network begins airing T.D. Jakes’ hourlong syndicated talk show hosted by the Dallas mega pastor Sep. 19.

OWN will air the talker, already in over 50 U.S. markets, Monday through Friday at 6 p.m. ET/PT.

“Every now and then you get an opportunity that makes you so excited you get goose pimples. That’s my attitude today,” Jakes, 59, said when he first announced the deal adding the program produced by 44Blue Productions, EnLight Productions and T.D. Jakes Enterprises to OWN.

Winfrey’s network president Erik Logan expressed his joy over adding the series to the thriving cabler.

“Oprah and OWN have a wonderful, long-running relationship with Bishop Jakes,” said Logan. “We are thrilled to welcome his new talk show and unique, inspirational voice to the OWN family.”

Jakes said, “Oprah Winfrey is an icon and a business mogul who has become a national treasure impacting our nation with her creativity. I consider her a personal friend and I’m honored to have her support of my new show.”
