Heartland Film Festival – 25th Anniversary Season

Get ready for 10 days of great films that do more than entertain. Each year, the festival showcases independent, international short- and feature-length movies that bring out the best in the human spirit. In addition to screenings, you can attend red carpet premieres, parties, and other events. Single movie tickets are $9-$12 and a festival pass starts at $100.

Cirque de la Symphonie Goes Broadway! at Hilbert Circle Theatre

Cirque combines the magic of amazing artistic performances with a live orchestra. See heart-stopping aerial flyers, acrobats, dancers, jugglers, contortionists, and strongmen side by side with classical masterpieces as well as contemporary music at various times Friday-Saturday. A special symFUNy version for kids 4-12 is offered Sunday. Tickets start at $10 for all shows.

You Are There 1848  Eli Lilly at the Beginning

Step into another era in the award-winning You Are There at the Indiana Historical Society. Through January 2018, visit 1848 to see Colonel Eli Lilly’s original lab in downtown Indy. Historic photographs come to life as actors play the people in the images and tell you about the Civil War veteran’s “new” start-up pharmaceutical business. Included with regular admission of $5-$7.
