Nothing gets us in the Christmas spirit quite like a good Christmas carol. Here’s an awesome performance of that’s sure to stir your soul.

Who doesn’t love a good Christmas carol, especially when one of gospel music’s most powerful voices is performing it?

Dove and Stellar Award-winner Kim Burrell delighted the audience at Bishop Charles E. Blake’s “Christmas at the Cathedral” celebration this year.

Burrell’s jazzed up rendition of the holiday classic “Silver Bells” was not only vocally excellent, but stressed that Jesus is the reason for the season.

The vocalist, who is set to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Jan. 5, 2017 to sing “I See a Victory” from the Hidden Figures soundtrack, wasn’t the only exceptionally gifted performer at West Angeles on Dec. 18.

The annual free Christmas concert, held as a means of giving back to the Los Angeles community, also featured Jonathan Reynolds, The Shelby 5, Jessie Campbell, Beverly Crawford and the West Angeles Church of God in Christ Mass Choir.

If you love Christmas songs and are ready to hear what it sounds like when someone masterfully remixes a carol, press play on the video below and watch the 44-year-old do it like only she can.
