New York Kinck VS. Indiana Pacers (80’s Decade Game)
The Indiana Pacers have been a fixture on the Indiana sports scene since 1967. One of the National Basketball Association’s premier franchises, the Pacers have reached NBA Playoffs and Eastern Conference Finals many times and were in the NBA Finals in 2000. Home games are played at Bankers Life Fieldhouse, regarded by many as the finest basketball arena in the world.
This is Indiana’s 50th anniversary season!
All-Star forward Chuck “The Rifleman” Person bobbleheads will be given to the first 15,000 fans.
In addition to the bobbleheads, Bankers Life Fieldhouse signage and decor will reflect that particular decade, as will in-game music, videos and entertainment. Pacers players will wear shooting shirts that will be similar to the uniforms worn in those decades. The Pacemates will also don outfits from those decades.
