Things may not have gone as planned this year, but that’s not stopping gospel singer Kirk Franklin from honoring his wife Tammy on the occasion of the couple’s 21st wedding anniversary.

The “Wanna Be Happy?” songwriter, who was unable to take his “queen” out for a date this year due to illness, posted a sweet and cheeky online tribute to the missus.

“So I’m at home sick today and it’s my 21st anniversary!” wrote Franklin, 46, on Instagram on Jan. 20. “I wanted to take this fine sexy thang out and spoil her for riding with me, pushing me, and loving me until I healed. I’m in my PJ’s with my breath stinky and she’s right next to me like she’s always been.”

The multiple GRAMMY® Award-winner, who lavishly celebrated his spouse’s birthday back in December by gifting her with a party, designer fashions, flowers, a private massage and more, vowed a proper celebration once he gets better.

“Happy Anniversary my queen. I’ll make it up to you I promise. The world is yours,” he said, cheekily and playfully adding, “And that bump on your lower section is mine!”

Clearly he appreciates everything about his helpmeet, including her, ahem, physical attributes.

The CEO of Fo Yo Soul Recordings never misses an opportunity to let it be known how loyal, wonderful and long-suffering Mrs. Franklin has been throughout their relationship.
