PAJAM Signs Internet Sensation
(DETROIT, MI) – December 19, 2017 – PAJAM announced the signing of internet singing sensation Yael Hilton (means “God’s Strength”) today. An accomplished singer, Yael has shared the stage with some of gospel music’s most influential. The accomplished singer is now prepared to make her mark as a solo artist under the direction of Paul “PDA” Allen and J Moss (“PAJAM”).
Yael Hilton is a native of Fayetteville, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Pastor Larry E. Hilton and First Lady Evangelist Joyce Hilton. Her father pastors at the Fayetteville Deliverance Evangelistic Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
J Moss says, “When I discovered her in 2016, I knew she had something special! Paul Allen saw the vision for her and we both put the moving parts into motion. We are excited to have her inside the PAJAM family.”
PAJAM is a Grammy Award winning songwriting and production team consisting of Paul Allen and James “J” Moss from Detroit. They have worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Boyz II Men, Dru Hill, Patti LaBelle, Justin Timberlake and Kelly Price. Their creativity has also placed them in the arena to produce music for commercials (“Chrysler,” “Kmart”), movie soundtracks (Deep BlueSea, Fighting Temptations, Rush Hour II); and television series (“Greys Anatomy,” “CSI,” “Soul Food”). The team have gained a host of accolades that include, 12 Grammy Award nominations (5 wins), 3 American Music Award nominations (1 win), 5 Soul Train Award nominations (3 wins), 39 Stellar Award nominations (22 wins), 4 Dove Award nominations, BMI Songwriter of the Year Award and 15 first singles.
In 2014, PAJAM announced the launch of their music label, PMG Records. November 25, 2014 marked the release of the labels first #1 Billboard Gospel project, ‘Grown Folks Gospel, by J Moss. The label, successfully gained another #1 Billboard Gospel album with the release of 21:03’s, ‘Outsiders.’
