Chick-fil-A Say It Ain’t So
Chick-fil-A Say It Ain’t So

Okay, I’m not gonna lie. This one hurt my feelings. Chick fil A? Really?! I’m just as disappointed as y’all. I love that number 1 Spicy Chicken Sandwich, but the FDA is proposing a ban on 7 of their menu items. The spicy chicken sandwich has yellow number 6 hiding in the seasoning? The paprika seasoning at that? Whew. My heart and my taste buds were not ready.
Now before we all fall out, there’s some good news. The regular chicken sandwich is still safe. So yes, I’ll be switching over for now, grudgingly. I guess I’ll just have to add my own spice with a side eye and a little hot sauce.
The peach milkshake? It’s still fair game, just ditch the maraschino cherry because it’s got Red number 40. Same with the cookies and cream and chocolate shakes. Apparently, the cherry is the sneaky little troublemaker here. Who knew something so small could cause so many problems?
Let’s be real, we’ve got enough to worry about. Wars, the cost of eggs, and now banned dyes in our comfort food? But this isn’t about panic, it’s about being aware. I’m still rooting for Chick fil A to make those small tweaks, because paprika without Yellow number 6 sounds like a peace offering we can all accept.
Until then, I’ll be watching my order a little closer. No shade, just facts… and maybe a little side of waffle fries to make myself feel better.
