Leaves Staff Position at D.C. Church
Washington, D.C. — Gospel Recording Artist Earnest Pugh is gaining a reputation for being one of the hardest working break-out artists in the gospel music industry.
His current CD “Earnest Pugh Live: Rain On Us” (released July 2009) jumped 6 places last week to garner the #7 spot on the Billboard Gospel Charts and the #3 on the Billboard (BDS) Radio Chart. Though his powerful ministry presentation on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) last week clearly contributed to the surge in sales and ultimate chart movement, Pugh CD has held its own (on all charts) for well over 35 weeks. The TBN broadcast, hosted by Dr. Zachery Tims, which also featured Pastors Smokie Norful and Pastor E. Dewy Smith of Atlanta, was broadcasted to an audience of over 44 million. “I marvel at the how the hand of the Lord is moving in my life right now. I really appreciate this moment in time.
