Super Jay Johnson brought a major market style of Black radio to Indianapolis.  As Program Director of WTLC, Super Jay worked closely with General Manager Al “The Bishop” Hobbs to make WTLC one of the pioneering Black radio stations in the country. AlHobbs1On the occasion of the passing of Al Hobbs, Jay Johnson returned to Indianapolis. He’s rarely been interviewed about his years working with Al at WTLC.
