Mayor Greg Ballard joined with ministers of the Indianapolis Ten Point Coalition to urge that February be a “Violence Free” month in Indianapolis. Both entities, along with Indiana Black Expo and the Indianapolis Urban League calls for a reduction of violence and the end of gun violence in the city. Ten Point Coalition and their partners plan a February 15th meeting with law enforcement, including Federal, business, media and others to search for ways to reduce violence.
