So, Afternoons with Amos hosted a two hour forum on the future of public transportation in Indianapolis. What should public transportation here include? Buses, light rail, direct services, more express service, more service in neighborhoods and more? Along with listener suggestions and comments, joining in the forum were Mark Miles of Indy Connect and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership, Mike Terry of IndyGo, Lori Wiser of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization, Ehren Bingaman of the Central Indiana Regional Transportation Authority, Robert Vane of the Mayor’s Office and Josephine Rogers of the Martindale-Brightwood Community Development Corporation. Here is Part 1 of the discussion.
