The founder of the Guardian Angels Curtis Sliwa, and local leaders Randy Howard and Kevin Watkins visited Afternoons with Amos to explain the history, mission and role of the Guardian Angels. Sliwa founded the Guardian Angels 32 years ago which now has chapters in 138 cities in the US and other countries. Sliwa, Howard and Watkins explained what the Angels would be doing in Indy and encouraged the community to join them in their work to reduce crime in Indianapolis neighborhoods.
