Folks, this is a different world.

A heated dispute on the popular social media site Instagram led to a violent attack on four Georgia women that resulted in third-degree burns, jail time and criminal charges.

According to an arrest warrant obtained by Smyrna police, Myzelle Armstrong (18), Mykhal Tait (20) and Zawadi Clark (20, all pictured above) were confronted at their apartment complex by Ashley Hardy, Jasmine Ragland, Shatericka Barrino and Stori Brown after an exchange of words on the Internet. All three suspects met the four women outside with a baseball bat and a pot of hot oil.

As Hardy, Ragland, Barrino and Brown ran back to their car, the trio pried open the front driver’s side door with the bat. Clark then doused Hardy and Ragland with the oil, leaving second- and third-degree burns on the women’s legs and arms.

“Just shocked,” Hardy said about the incident. “I couldn’t even scream. That was the thing. I couldn’t scream. I was just in shock. I didn’t believe what was happening to me.” Police said the injuries will likely cause permanent scarring.

The three suspects have been charged with four counts of felony battery. Armstrong and Clark are free on bond while Tait remains behind bars at the Cobb County Jail.
