New episodes of “Iyanla: Fix My Life” returns to OWN this Saturday at 9 p.m. with Syleena Johnson and her sisters needing serious help in dealing with their mama.
Viewers of “R&B Divas” already know about the rocky road between the R&B singer and her mother Brenda, a recovering addict who moved into Syleena’s house last season.
Iyanla travels to Alpharetta, Georgia to help Syleena and her sisters heal the strained relationship with both of their parents. In particular, Syleena’s relationship with Brenda is at a breaking point. They are at each other’s throats about almost everything and all of the nastiness is happening in front of Syleena’s young sons.
Iyanla works her magic with the entire family to help them heal, additionally focusing on the root causes of Syleena and Brenda’s pain in order to diffuse a situation that threatens to tear mother and daughter apart.
