The Mississippi Mass Choir is now set to record their 10th live recording on Thursday, October 17th @ 7p.m. in celebration of Gospel Music Heritage Month as well as their 25th anniversary. The date was originally set for September, however Record Label top brass, D.A. Johnson said, “The date was pushed back to October and will take place at the Thalia Mara Hall in Jackson, Mississippi. Sitting in the producer’s seat for this project is Stan Jones.
The choir kicked off the official 25th anniversary celebration tour in Houston with noteworthy appearances alongside Dr. Myrlie Evers Williams and Julian Bond at the NAACP celebration for Medgar Evers and the AME Zion Church Convocation.
