Oscar winning Morgan Freeman has been pretty outspoken lately. He is in the new movie “Last Vegas” which opens this Friday, and has been speaking out about everything from the legalization of marijuana to calling the Tea Party racist.
He says he will not be seeing the new critically acclaimed movie, “12 Years a Slave”.
He says:
“I saw a television movie that was made a few years ago about the same character [Solomon Northup]. But I don’t particularly want to see it,” he told the Daily Beast. “I don’t want my anger quotient exacerbated, you know? Things are bad enough as they are. I don’t want to keep punching myself in the face with it.”
Well, we know that some folks get cranky with older age and also with older age folks speak their minds. Morgan Freeman, I suppose can do and say what he wants at this point!
