There was a shooting today (February 5) in the parking lot of Bishop Eddie Long’s New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Lithonia. The shooting involved a deputy who is reportedly okay. A spokesperson for the church told WSB-TV that the shooting is unrelated to the church. Deputies reportedly chased a suspect onto church property where the shooting occurred.
