The Phil Jackson era is off to a good start for the New York Knicks as they pulled out a 92-86 win against our own Indiana Pacers behind 34 points and five assists from Carmelo Anthony.  Paul George was 4-of-17 from the field including 2-of-9 from three in the ‘Blue & Gold’ loss on Wednesday night in Madison Square Garden.  Lance Stephenson led the Pacers with 21 points and nine rebounds. Roy Hibbert added another 20 points to keep this match-up competitive and from being a blow-out. The Pacers still lead the Eastern Conference despite this hiccup. Ironically, the Pacers meet one of Jackson’s past legendary organizations tomorrow night at home. The Pacers host the Chicago Bulls for a lively Friday night game in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
