IMPD Called to Peace Event At Indy Church

A peace lock-in at Light of the World Christian Church on North Michigan Road in Indianapolis turned out to be a bit too successful. Church leaders say close to two thousand teens showed up Sunday for a youth lock-in scheduled from 8:00 Sunday night to 8:00 Monday morning. The planned event aimed to keep teens out of trouble and teach a message of peace. Organizers say they had to call police because of disturbances following the unexpected turn out.
