hoosiers for quality education logoIt’s a relatively new organization in the debate about education in Indiana.  They’re called Hoosiers for Quality Education.  They’re a 502-c-4 non profit that supports quality education for all students.  Whether its public, charters or private schools.  They believe that every student deserves an opportunity to learn in a high quality environment that best meets their needs. Hoosiers for Quality Education is also a political action committee (PAC). In the 2014 they raised and donated over $275,000 to candidates in their words “who share our view of improving the quality of all Hoosier schools, expanding quality educational choices for families and celebrating top quality teachers and educational models across the state”.  As the debates heat up about education in the coming legislature, especially a titanic battle over Indiana’s school funding formula we reached out to have our Afternoons with Amos audience hear that this group is about.  Tosha Salyers of Hoosiers for Quality Education appeared on our program from Lafayette Square and talked about her organization and their views on upcoming education issues.  Click the Media Player to Hear the Afternoons with Amos Interview with Hoosiers for Quality Education.
