Aaron Blackwell (L) & Emma Blackwell (R) Missing Indy Teens

UPDATED INFO: Aaron and Emma Blackwell, the two African-American teens kidnapped from their home at gunpoint early Monday morning are now SAFE! Early Tuesday morning, Emma Blackwell apparently was returned to her North LaSalle Street home. Perhaps by her kidnappers.  IMPD officers questioned her early this morning.  Monday evening, her brother Aaron had been found by police in Detroit after a high speed police chase.  He was unharmed. Detroit police arrested three individuals in the case. Earlier Monday Detroit Police took a “person of interest” into custody in this bizarre case which caused an Amber Alert to be issued in two states. The Amber Alert is now CANCELLED! Afternoons with Amos will have a detailed wrap up of this bizarre case Today at One.  EARLIER REPORTS: The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, along with Indiana State Police have issued an AMBER ALERT!  They need YOUR HELP in finding two African-American teens who were forcibly kidnapped from their near eastside home this morning (Monday) at 3am. According to IMPD they received a call a 911 call about 3:30am saying that three Black males entered the home in the 1200 block of North LaSalle and abducted the teens at gunpoint. IMPD and State Police believe Aaron and Emma are in “Extreme Danger”.  The family is cooperating. Michigan State Police believe the two teens may have been taken into the State of Michigan, which now could make this a Federal crime as well and get the FBI involved.
