Some people subscribe to the theory that on St. Patrick’s Day, EVERYONE is Irish, let the party commence. Will Indianapolis is celebrating in style on this St. Paddy’s Day holiday with a parade in the middle of downtown. The entire community is invited to the parade and festival that get underway at 11:30 a.m Eastern. (The block party festival takes place on Vermont Street between Pennsylvania and Meridian Streets.)
However there are some who don’t partake in the day and that’s okay. Either way, you need to know where to go if you’re heading downtown today or the area to avoid so you don’t get caught up in traffic.
