A 32-year-old Long Island, New York bank clerk, who was confined to a mental ward for eight days after saying President Obama follows her on Twitter, has filed suit against a New York City hospital, according to the New York Daily News.

Kam Brock endured forced injections of powerful sedatives and was ordered to swallow lithium, among other drugs at Harlem Hospital, according to medical records obtained through her suit filed in Manhattan Federal Court, the report says.

According to the New York Daily News report, the doctors did not believe that President Obama — who follows over 640,000 accounts — followed Brock. Turns out, he does.

“I told (the doctor) Obama follows me on Twitter to show her the type of person I am. I’m a good person, a positive person. Obama follows positive people!” Brock, whose Twitter handle is @AkilahBrock, said.

The site points out that Brock was subject to even more damage — the hospital charged her with a $13,637.10 bill, according to her suit.

Brock’s bizarre experience began last year after NYPD officers believed the 32-year-old was high on marijuana.

The nightmare for Jamaican-born Kam Brock, an aspiring pop singer, began on 12 September last year (2014) when NYPD officers in Harlem confiscated her BMW 325Ci, suspecting her to be under the influence of marijuana. Despite finding no drugs in the car it was confiscated.

The next day Ms Brock went to retrieve her car from a local police station and says she was slapped in handcuffs, put in an ambulance and forcibly-injected with sedatives.

“Next thing you know, the police held onto me, the doctor stuck me with a needle and I was knocked out,” Brock told New York Daily News.

Brock said that when she was finally released, doctors did not tell her why she was being allowed to leave. Harlem Hospital has yet to comment on Brock’s alleged experience.
