Rachel Dolezal was given the opportunity to explain why she considers herself to be black on MSNBC with Melissa Harris-Perry.
Dolezal resigned as the NAACP chapter president in Spokane, Washington on Monday. She made the decision after coming under fire for portraying herself as a black woman. This after, Dolezal’s parents who are white confirmed she was their estranged daughter.
