‘Black’ Washington State NAACP Leader Is Really White, Parents Say

It’s been weeks since Rachel Dolezal was thrown in the spotlight for portraying herself as a black woman when she was born white. After several big news stories, her story was pushed to the back burner.

Although, Rachel has lost a lot including her part-time teaching job in the Africana-studies program at Eastern Washington University, as well as, stepping down as president of the local NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington. But, today she still says she identifies herself as a black woman.
