Lebron James is back in the news and it’s not for basketball. The superstar athlete recently announced he’s launching a program called, “I PROMISE, Too” that will help Ohio adults gets their GEDs.

Last month, James and the University of Akron announced that they had partnered to provide four-year scholarships to qualifying students in James’ “I PROMISE” program.

James decided to broaden his generosity by teaming up with Project Learn of Summit County, which is an organization dedicated to adult education. The partnership will make it possible for parents of the children taking part in his “I PROMISE” program will also be able to obtain their GEDs.

The program will cover class and test fees and provides free bus passes and tablets.
