Every year, according to the Baby Center, we find out what baby names were the most popular. Pop culture tends to have an influence on what parents decide to name their newborns. So, it should be no surprise that people are actually naming their baby’s after Instagram filters. Yes, names such as Lux, Amaro, Juno, and Valencia are all up a considerable amount, but they didn’t make the top ten. Fox’s hit show Empire also had an influence on new parents, as Dre, Lyon, and Hakeem also saw a spike in popularity.
